Jai Bhavani Productions, Sivabhavani Films and Srivaasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari Prachara Parishad have jointly launched a devotional movie titled ‘Sri Vaasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari Charitra’. Ex-chief minister and present Governor of Tamil Nadu K Roshaiah did the pooja formality for this film. The shooting part has been successfully completed under the direction of Sripaada Ramachandra Rao. Ramya Krishna essayed the role of Parvathy Devi and J T Ramesh played Lord Shiva. Sandeepthi will be seen as Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari Maatha. While few comedy scenes involving Raghubabu and AVS were canned recently at Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad, the entire shooting part was wrapped up at a Ramalayam temple in Attapur where some prominent scenes on Ranganath,
Sandeepthi, Lavakusa Nagaraju and Aakella was shot.
Producers J R Padmini, Kompalli Chandra Sekhar and Kasaragottu Rajasekhar Gupta said, “There are altogether seven songs in the film. We are doing this film with an intention to provide a good film to the audience, hence we have not compromised on production values. Half an hour of graphics will definitely attract the audience. Senior artists like Ramyakrishna, Suman and Chandra Mohan’s performances are highlights. We will release the audio soon.”
