Pawan Kalyan expressed his pain at the loss of lives, “I was deeply pained by the stampede at Pushkar Ghat in Rajahmundry that led to the death of twenty seven devotees. Sympathies were with those injured in the incident and my condolences to the families of the deceased. Immediately after knowing about the tragic incident, I thought of reaching the place to console the victims. However, I dropped such plans as his mere presence would only disrupt the rescue operations and cause severe inconvenience to the people. I urge Jana Sena Activists and my fans to take part in the help and rescue operations and offer a helping hand to the people in need.
