Srikanth Iyengar, who has done hit movies like 'Brochevarevarura', is one of the most sought-after character artists in Telugu. The news is that he is making a debut as a producer with a Telugu drama titled 'Yanam', which is based on the works of William Shakespeare.
Produced on KSI Cinema Unlimited, the film marks the directorial debut of Karunakaran. On Monday, the project was made official at a small event in the presence of 'Sammohanam' maker Indraganti Mohanakrishna and happening producer Bunny Vaas of GA2 Pictures.
Speaking on the occasion, Bunny Vaas stated that it needs so much courage to make movies in the pandemic era. He wished the team of 'Yanam' all the best.
Indraganti, known for movies like 'Ami Thumi', said that Srikanth is playing an amazing role in his upcoming movie, 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali'. Director Karunakaran has previously done theatre and Ad films. He expressed confidence that 'Yanam' will fetch him recognition.
