Rashmi Gautam’s ‘Antham’ has hit the screens on July 7 as Ramzan treat. Let us now have a look at the first day collections. The film which has been released in over 300 theaters in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka, has got 90% openings in all cities and towns and stood as record film among independent small budget films by grossing Rs 1.26 crores on first day.
On this occasion, director and producer of the film GSSP Kalyan said, “Our film ‘Antham’ which has been released in over 300 theaters, has grossed Rs 1.26 crores on first day. It has given immense happiness to me. We have given our film to distributers for very reasonable price. Every distributer is very confident that they will reach breakeven point within two days. These days, when it became very difficult to release independent small budget films, our film did good business before the release itself and released grandly and grossed record collections in the first day. As this is Rashmi’s next film after ‘Guntur’ talkies, the film has got good openings. I am thankful to audience for making the film a big success.”
Directed and produced by GSSP Kalyan on a shoestring, the film is said to a suspense thriller featuring beautiful actress Rashmi Gautham, Charan Deep, Vasudev and Sudarshan in the lead roles. The film is produced under Charan Creations banner in association with Hanu Charan Creations.
