We all know that Kamal Haasan and director Shankar are once again teaming up for ‘Indian 2’, a sequel to 1996 released sensational hit film ‘Indian’. This much-awaited film is presently in its pre-production stage. The latest news about the film is that renowned Malayalam actor Nedumudi Venu has been approached to play a key role in the film. This marks a comeback film for him in Tamil after a long gap. The actor played CBI officer in prequel and he will be reprising the same role in the sequel. Kamal Haasan himself has announced his inclusion in the film at an award function.
Produced by Lyca Productions, ‘Indian 2’ will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Nayanthara will play the female lead. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has been roped in for an important role. The rest of the cast and crew details are yet to be officially announced by the makers.
