A roster of Telugu films is scheduled to be released in theatres starting July 12. Most of them are straight, while a couple of them are dubbed.
July 12th:
'Indian 2': Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, SJ Suryah and others are the main actors in this Shankar-directed biggie.
'Sarangadhariya': Starring Raja Ravindra as a middle-aged family man, this is a family drama.
July 19th:
'Darling': Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh feature as a quarrelsome married couple in this marriage comedy. Aswin Raam has directed it.
'The Birthday Boy': Touted to be the year's whackiest film, this is a buddy comedy starring newcomers.
'Peka Medalu': The film is fronted by Vinoth Kishan and Anoosha Krishna. It is written and directed by Neelagiri Mamilla.
July 26th:
'Buddy': This rip-off of 'Teddy' stars Allu Sirish in the lead. The action comedy is directed by Sam Anton.
'Toofan': Vijay Antony and Megha Akash headline this thriller. Vijay Milton has directed it.
August 2nd:
'Roti Kapada Romance', 'Operation Raavan', Varun Sandesh's 'Viraaji' are scheduled to be released. Also, we are going to see the re-release of Gautam Menon's 'Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu' in theatres.
Others that are likely to be released before Independence Day:
Suhas' 'Janaka Aithe Ganaka', Vennela Kishore's 'Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes', Raj Tarun's 'Tiragabadara Saami', and 'Committee Kurrollu'.
