'S5' is a horror-thriller directed by Sunny Komalapati, the dance master. 'No Exit' is its caption. Sai Kumar, Ali, Nandamuri Tarakaratna, Sunil and Prince are playing key roles in the movie. Produced by Gautham Kondepudi of Saga Entertainments, the film has got music by Mani Sharma. The makers are confident that the Melody Brahma's music will be a highlight. The film's teaser was released at an event attended by producer C Kalyan, Ira Creations' Usha Mulpuri and director VN Aditya.
Speaking on the occasion, C Kalyan said, "The director and producer have executed the film the way they wanted. I was surprised to see the set of a train. They didn't compromise on quality. The teaser proves that."
Ali said, "Sunny has got great timing as a dancer. I loved the story when he narrated it to me even before other artists came on board. Mani Sharma garu's music is surprising. This is the first Indian film to be shot on a Red Ranger camera. The film's backdrop is a train."
The director said that the title of the film suits the story. "Although it was planned to be made as a small-budgeted film, its range kept on increasing over a period of time," he added. The producer said, "The train set was created in 25 days. The entire shoot was completed in 34 days at a stretch. It's not often that a film is shot non-stop and completed at once."
Suresh Varma, Mehaboob, Avanthika, Ruthuja, Raghu, Sanjay, Gabbar Singh Batch, Ramana Reddy and Fish Venkat are part of the cast. Music is by Mani Sharma. Cinematography is by 'Garuda Vega' Anji. Editing is by Garry BH. Art direction is by Nagendra. Dialogues and lyrics are by Kalyan Chakravarthy.
