The Income Tax officials today raided Kollywood actor Vijay, the producers of Bigil and its distributors-financiers. The makers of the film Bigil said that the film had collected a whopping Rs 300 Cr. The IT department wanted to know where this money was invested.
Currently the search in the location is continuing and nothing has been seized from the premises. But the IT department has issues statement that no cash was seized. They also stated that Vijay's investment in immovable properties and remuneration received from the said Producer for acting in the film is the subject matter of investigation.
No statement has come in from Vijay.
