Mohanlal's 'Drishyam', released in 2013, was a huge hit in Malayalam and the film was later remade into Telugu with Venkatesh. Kamal Haasan and Ajay Devgn played the leads in the Tamil and Hindi versions respectively. Now, a sequel is getting ready for this family thriller.
On the occasion of his birthday, Mohanlal announced 'Drishyam 2'. Jeethu Joseph, the director of the original, will helm this project too and the fans of the Lalettan are excited over the announcement. Ashirvad Cinemas will produce this movie.
If all goes well, we may see a sequel to the Telugu version as well. We will have to wait and see how the second part is going to be.
