Cricketer Harbhajan Singh is debuting in a full-fledged role in 'Friendship', an entertainer starring also Action King Arjun Sarja in a lead role. Presented by Toughened Studios Limited, the multi-lingual has been helmed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya.
Producer AN Balaji has said that the film will be released in theatres in the month of September. A source said that Balaji is a thoughtful producer. "He has got a vision of his own. That's why he recently produced 'Orey Bammardhi', starring Siddharth. 'Friendship' is going to be an important release of the year," the source added.
Talking about the movie's release, Balaji said that he is happy to see the Telugu audience lapping up movies worldwide after the second wave. "Encouraged by this response, we are going to release 'Friendship' in September," he added.
Made on a huge budget of Rs 25 Cr, the film also features Kollywood producer J Satish Kumar as the antagonist. Losliya, who won the Bigg Boss Tamil title in the past, is its female lead. Its title logo was previously released by Mantralayam Peetadhipathi Sri Subhudendra Teertha Swamy. With music by DM Uday Kumar, the entertainer has dialogues by Rajasekhar Reddy.
The film is a multi-lingual.
