The makers of 'Ghani' have made it official that the film won't be released in theatres this year. Its release has been rescheduled to an indefinite date in 2022.
Issuing a statement, the makers said that it will surely release only in theatres and not on OTT. The Varun Tej-starring kickboxing movie was shot on expensive sets and exotic locations, the producers added.
The grand-scale movie, they added, is to be experienced only on the big screen. The release date has been rejigged to avoid a clash with other notable movies.
Directed by Kiran Korrapati, 'Ghani' also features Suniel Shetty, Upendra, Naveen Chandra, and Saiee Manjrekar.
