'Kapatadhaari', starring Sumanth as a traffic cop, is an emotional suspense thriller that is also an investigative drama. Helmed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, it is an official remake of 'Kavaludaari' (Kannada). Written and produced by G Dhananjayan, the film will release in theatres on February 19.
Starring also Nandita Swetha, Pooja Kumar, Nasser, Jayaprakash, and Sampath, the film is banking on its content. "Sumanth has acted in a terrific manner. The characters played by Nasser, Sampath Raj, Jaya Prakash and Nandita are exciting," the producer says.
Music is by Simon K King. Rasamathi is the director of photography. The thriller has dialogues by Bhashyasri. Story is by Hemanth M Rao. Art Direction is by Videsh. Editing is by Praveen KL. Action choreography is by Stunt Silva.
