FCUK(Father Chitti Uma Karthik), starring Jagapathi Babu, Raam Kaarthik, Ammu Abhirami among others, will be releasing on 12th February and the Barasala function (Pre-release event) was held on Saturday at Hotel Daspalla, Hyderabad. Youtube Stars released the songs and music videos from the movie amidst much fanfare. The film is being produced by KL Damodar Prasad under Ranjith movies banner and Vidya Sagar is the director.
Speaking on the occasion FCUK Movie producer KL Damodar Prasad said, "Today is a very special day as it is on this day that Telugu film industry was born. We are happy to hold this Barasala function on this special day. FCUK Movie journey started with Jagapathi Babu introducing me to director Vidyasagar Raju. We found the concept interesting and the entire team worked hard to make sure that the output is perfect. Sri Ranjith Movies takes pride in introducing new talent and this movie too introduces new talents. Shiva, who debuts as cinematographer, has given fantastic visuals. Actor Bala Aditya showcased his other talent as he worked with Karunakar Adigarla to pen the dialogues and lyrics of the film".
He welcomed the YouTube stars, who kept the audiences entertained during the pandemic, to release the songs. ‘Selfie Lelo’ song was released by Babloo, ‘Nenem Cheyaa’ was released by Durgarao couple, ‘Manasu Katha’ by Harika, ‘Hey Hudiya’ by Dil Se Mahboob, ‘Garalapetta’ was released by Shanmukh Jashwanth. Among the highlights was the moment when responding to Durgaraos request Jagapathi stepped on stage to sing along ‘Nenem Cheyaa’ and all other stars joined in to dance. Actor Baladitya recalled that he was a child artist in Jagapathi Babus Sankalpam film and now he is excited to have penned dialogues for him. Actor Bharath said director Vidyasagar brought out a new dimension in him.
Heroine Ammu Abhirami said she felt blessed to be debuting in Telugu with a great movie. Hero Ram Karthik said it was an amazing team effort he is happy that the songs have gone viral.
Actor Sunil, who purchased the film's big ticket, said that every artist and technician launched by Sri Ranjith Movies had a good career and hewished the same to everybody involved in this film too. Director Vidyasagar Raju said that he hoped that every one of the Tollywood audience will enjoy this film.
Jagapathi Babu said, "It's a fantastic idea to get the YouTube stars to release the song. Everyone is indebted to them for keeping the audiences entertained during the pandemic year. 300 people working on a movie is equal to one man show of a YouTuber . I liked the movie title the moment director Vidyasagar told me. Everything about the movie is truly fantastic.The amazing success of the teaser is enough to say how much success the film will be. Post pandemic, the audiences have been waiting for a true entertainer and I am confident that FCUK movie will be such a movie".
