'Mail', directed by Uday Gurrala, is produced by Swapna Productions. The OTT platform Aha is releasing it as a Sankranthi special. A dramedy, this one has Priyadarshi as the hero. Harshith Reddy, the YouTuber, will be seen in a key role. Set in a remote village of Telangana, the web film is touted to be realistic.
Speaking on the occasion of the film's trailer presentation, Aha's Allu Arvind recalled his association with Aswini Dutt, the Vyjayanthi Movies patriarch. "I asked Swapna, who is like my daughter, to make something for us and she immediately agreed and here we are," the Geetha Arts patriarch said. Swapna, who has previously bankrolled 'Mahanati', was in agreement. 'Mallesham' star Priyadarshi said, "I am glad to be part of such a beautiful film and hope the audiences love it as much as we did."
'Mail will go live on January 12 at 6 PM. The fact that Aha offers diversified content at a reasonable price of less than Rs 360 was also highlighted.
'Mail' has cinematography by Uday Gurrala and Shyam Dupati. Music is by Sweekar Agasthi. Editing is by Harishankar TN. Background music is by Kamran. Costumes are by Ashwan. Besides Priyadarshi and Harshith, 'Mail' also stars several talented artists.
