Alert is an upcoming movie starring Vijay Krishna of Durmargudu fame as the hero. Produced by UA Creations' Mallikarjun Uppalapati, Sanjana Chowdhary is its heroine. Its launch ceremony took place on Monday. Producers KL Damodar Prasad, Bekkem Venu Gopal, director V Samudra, producer Thummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, guest Brahmananda Reddy said, "This is my friend Mallikarjun's first movie as a producer. He has got a bound script and a perfect plan."
Hero Vijay Krishna said, "This is my fourth movie as a hero. Our film is about how youngsters are getting cheated by online scams. Our director is like Rajamouli garu. We hope the the audience are going to love our movie."
The producer said, "The story is based on some real experiences encountered by a friend of my best friend. When I came to know about what happened to him, I was reduced to tears. This one was first planned to be a short film. When the dialogue version came out well, we wanted to make it as a web series. We later thought of making it as an OTT show. Finally, after consulting some people, we decided to make it as a film."
The director said that he has known the producer for a year now. "Our producer is playing an important role alongside the hero. ML Raja, who has composed a number of hits, is the music director. We will complete the shoot in Kakinada. The shoot will begin in 15 days."
Durga Rao, Anand Bharathi, Bailampudi Brahmananda Reddy, Trimurthulu and Ramaraj are part of the cast. Dialogues are by Mani Kore. Editing is by Shiva. Choreography is by Uma Shankar. Cinematography is by Manohar Kolli. Story, screenplay, direction are by Murthy Kodiganti.
