Deepika Padukone, the star actress, is all set to play a dacoit queen in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. Reports say that the film is titled 'Baiju Bawra'.
Bhansali, the star director, is currently doing Alia Bhatt's 'Gangubai', which will release in the second half of this year. He has been planning to do 'Baiju Bawra' for many years. The project is touted to be a mega one and will be based on the life of Roopmati.
However, the ambitious project is not going to go on the floors in a hurry. It will likely be shot from mid-2022.
The Padukone-Bhansali duo had previously teamed up for 'Ram Leela', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat', the last of which courted huge controversy in 2018.
