'Drushyam 2' will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from November 25. Ahead of its OTT release, its trailer was released on Monday.
The makers said that 'Drushyam 2' is one of the most-awaited films of 2021. "The film showcases a brilliant team of cast and creators - including Venkatesh, Jeethu Joseph (director) and Suresh Babu (producer)," the team from Prime said.
Touted to be an edge-of-seat thriller, the film will reach the audience in as many as 240 countries.
Venkatesh, the hero, thanked his fans and audiences from across the globe for having given the team of 'Drushyam 2' so much love and adulation. The 'Narappa' actor added that the sequel intends to finally put to rest all theories over the protagonist's fate after the cover-up in 'Drushyam'.
"'Drushyam 2' will take audiences on an emotional-yet-exhilarating journey, with the twists and turns in the plot that keep the suspense alive," the actor further said.
The director revealed that he brought out the story after changing his mind a million times on how to proceed with it.
