Naveen Chandra's 'Mission 2020' was released in theatres on October 29. Directed by Karanam Babji of 'Mental Police' and 'Operation 2019' fame, the film is admittedly inspired by the political situation in Nitish Kumar's era in Bihar. The film also features Satya Prakash, Ajay Ratnam, Dil Ramesh, Kotesh Manava and others.
The news is that the team of an upcoming movie titled 'Darja' on Saturday held an event to congratulate Team 'Mission 2020' on the box-office success of the movie. 'Darja', which is directed by Saleem Malik, stars Sunil and Anasuya in lead roles. Produced by PSS Entertainments' Siva Sankar Paidipati, the fiction-cum-action entertainer is presented by Sri Kamineni Srinivas.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Siva Sankar and Executive Producer Ravi Paidipati said, "We have watched 'Mission 2020' and we really liked the content. Every youngster has to watch it without fail. Besides having a message, it is also a commercial film. It's commendable that the producers of the film have made it without compromises. Music director Rap Rock Shakeel's RR is superb. I urge parents to take their children who are above the age of 13 to this film."
Music director Shakeel said, "Since the morning show, I have been receiving phone calls from people. We never imagined this kind of success. I am proud to have done this movie. The Censor Board gave us the fullest support."
