'Honey Trap', directed by Sunil Kumar Reddy, will release in theaters on September 17. Starring Rishi, Shilpa Nayak, Teju Anupoju, Siva Karthik and others, it is produced by VV Vamana Rao of Bharadwaj Cine Creations.
Speaking at an event today, the producer Vamana Rao said that he has had a special relationship with the director. "Sunil Kumar garu's romantic movies have always been successful at the box office. 'Honey Trap' is yet another of his unique movies. The Censor Board members told us that they didn't see any need to chop off scenes in the movie. They appreciated us and gave us 'A' certificate. Our movie is coming out in theatres."
Rishi said that he never imagined that he would get the opportunity to work with a senior filmmaker for his debut movie. The heroine said that she has got a strong role in 'Honey Trap'.
Lakshmi Pictures' Bapiraju said, "The director has gone beyond his movies 'Romantic Crime Katha' and 'Oka Criminal Prema Katha'. Even the posters of 'Honey Trap' indicate that it's going to be a hit. The auidence are going to have a full-meals kinda movie. The producer has spent money without worrying about the expenses."
The director said, "I always choose contemporary subjects. I developed an idea given by the producer into a nice story. Vamana Rao garu is a sensible writer. He is also a producer of rich taste. As for Bapiraju garu, he has been my well-wisher for the past 15 years."
