Director Kishan Sagar is wielding the megaphone for 'Mounam', a film produced by Los Angeles Talkies. Jointly bankrolled by Alluri Surya Prasad and Sandhya Ravi, the rom-com has psychological issues thrown in. 'Voice Of Silence' is its tagline. With music by MM Sree Lekha, it has Murali and Bhanu Sri as the lead pair.
On Wednesday, director Ramesh Varma unveiled its theatrical trailer. "Murali is a friend of mine. I hope 'Mounam' becomes a hit like Mani Ratnam's 'Mouna Ragam'," he said. Producer T Ramasatyanarayana was a guest at the occasion.
The film will be released in theatres in the first half of October. "Silence is a powerful weapon at times. Our movie is a sensible psychological thriller," the producers said.
Aishwarya Addala, Chinna of 'Shiva' fame, Dhanraj, Jeeva, Seshu and others are part of the cast. Story is by Anil. Screenplay and editing are by Shiva Sarwani.
