The Hindi remake of 'Jersey', starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead, will hit the cinemas on April 14. The news is that a song titled 'Maiyya Mainu' from the movie has garnered a whopping 100+ million views on YouTube.
Composed by Sachet and Parmpara, the song has been shot on the leading man and Mrunal Thakur. "The makers are extremely happy. The huge number was unthinkable," a source said.
Shahid is kicked about the release of the drama. "Just a few days to go for this emotional rollercoaster. The countdown has begun. We just can’t wait to witness this movie on the big screen. Shahid is going to nail it with his act," the makers recently tweeted.
Also featuring Pankaj Kapoor, the film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Presented by Allu Arvind, it is produced by Dil Raju, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Aman Gill.
