T Series and Bhadrakali Pictures today announced that 'Animal' has finally gone on the floors. The first schedule is being shot in the backdrop of the Himalayas. The pan-India project marks the coming together of 'Arjun Reddy' director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor.
"The title of the 2023 release reflects the nature of the male lead. The 'Kabir Singh' director has made a unique subject. Ranbir has gone in for a makeover," a source says. Violence is going to be unapologetic in the film.
The action entertainer rumouredly stars Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine.
To be released in theatres on August 11, 2023, 'Animal' also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. It will be released in all major South Indian languages and Hindi.
