Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is presenting 'Laal Singh Chaddha', is kicked about the movie's potential ahead of its theatrical release on August 11. The other day, a celebrity show was held for Tollywoodians at a multiplex in Hyderabad. About 200 individuals associated with the Telugu film industry attended the show. Among the celebs who attended it, Allu Aravind, Sai Dharam Tej, Allu Sirish, Karthikeya Gummakonda, directors Maruthi and Harish Shankar, and producer D Suresh Babu were prominent.
After the screening, Chiru said that the film has a sure-shot potential to impress the Telugu audience. "Aamir Khan is a gem of an actor and he is someone we should be proud of. I see presenting this film in Telugu as my responsibility. Naga Chaitanya's Balaraju is the kind of character the Telugu audience will connect with emotionally. The Telugu audience have always encouraged good films. The same has been proved by their support to 'Bimbisara' and 'Sita Ramam'," the 'Godfather' actor said.
Aamir Khan thanked Chiru and Allu Aravind, the latter of whom is distributing the film.
The comedy-drama, also starring Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh, is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Studios. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is expected to take a big opening on Day 1 in Hindi and other languages.
