'Karthikeya 2' has been running to packed houses ever since it was released in theatres on Saturday (Aug 13). Its success meet was held and producer Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Pictures dedicated the movie to Late Narayan Das Narang, the legendary distributor.
Speaking on the occasion, actress Anupama Parameswaran said, "Director Chandoo Mondeti's execution is better than the oral narration he had given us. I am glad that our film is a grand hit."
Chandoo Mondeti said, "Our film was released in theatres after two pandemic waves. Thanks to the stunning response, we are now able to forget the struggles we had to undergo to bring out this product. This unanimously positive response is giving us great satisfaction. It is making me emotional."
Nikhil Siddhartha said, "Right after the US premieres, positive response started flowing about our movie. We waited for the response from the domestic audience. And once the early shows were completed in the morning, we were flooded with a positive response from everywhere. The housefuls are making us very happy. The bookings for Sunday and Monday are superb."
