Aadi Saikumar and Payal Rajput-starrer 'Tees Maar Khan' will be heading to theatres on August 19. The pre-release event of the Kalyanji Gogana-directed movie was held today in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Aadi said that he enjoyed doing the pakka commercial entertainer at a time when he has been doing thrillers and concept-oriented movies. "When I listened to the story, I knew that it has got a wide span and would therefore have to be made on a big budget. Producer Nagam Tirupathi Reddy garu, thankfully, didn't compromise on quality. The success of 'Bimbisara', 'Sita Ramam' and 'Karthikeya 2' has instilled confidence in the industry," he said.
The film's director said that he had been doing only concept-oriented movies before 'TMK'. "For a change, this film is both content-driven and a commercial entertainer. You are going to see a twist every 15 minutes," the director added.
Music director Sai Kartheek said that the director has dealt with a strong plot point with an emotional quotient. "The casting is perfect," he added.
Anup Thakur Singh is the film's main villain. Also featuring Poorna, Kabir Singh, Arjun Ambati, RJ Hemanth, and Srikanth Iyengar, the film will have a decent release at the box office.
