In the trailer for 'DJ Tillu', the titular character (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) romantically asks his girlfriend Radhika (Neha Shetty) about her moles. She replies that she has got 16 moles on her body.
During the trailer launch event today in Hyderabad, a senior journalist drew his question from the trailer and, in the process, threw up a filthy question. In his question to Siddhu, he asked, "Did you try to discover how many moles your heroine has got in real (life)?"
Siddhu was visibly uncomfortable. "I think I will avoid the question," the actor answered.
The question has since become a talking point on the Internet. Across social media platforms, Netizens are slamming the journalist for asking the creepy question. "This is the lowest low of journalism," a Netizen lashed out.
In her tweet, Neha condemned the journalist and used strong words against him. "This question was very unfortunate at the trailer launch today. But I must go on to add that it simply simplifies the respect he has for himself and for the women force around him at his work place and at home (sic)," she wrote.
Sithara Entertainments, which has produced the entertainer, has taken note of the controversy. Producer S Naga Vamsi said sorry to Neha and described it as an unfortunate question.
