'Batch' is an upcoming entertainer starring Sathvik Varma in the lead. Sathvika is a former child artist who acted in movies such as 'Baahubali', 'Race Gurram', 'Duvvada Jagannadham' and 'Malli Raava'. Produced by Akankssha Movie Makers, the film has Neha Pathan as the heroine. The two-part movie, whose music is by Raghu Kunche, will be released in theatres on February 18.
Speaking about the movie, writer-director Shiva has said that the youthful movie is about punting and male prostitution in urban India. "The music is going to be a stand-out feature. We are confident about scoring a hit," he added.
Producer Ramesh Ganamajji said, "I am happy that our film has closed business deals during the pandemic. The senior artists' performances are going to stand out. They have been fully supportive."
'Baahubali' Prabhakar, Vinod Kumar, Chinna, Mirchi Madhavi, Sandhya Janak, Meka Ramakrishna, DS Rao, Chandini Bathija, Vinod Nayak and others have played important roles. Venkat Mannam has cranked the camera.
