'Shekar', starring Dr. Rajasekhar as a cop who gets back to work, has been written and directed by Jeevitha Rajasekhar. To be released probably on February 4 (since Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' is rumouredly going to be postponed), the film is currently completing its post-production works.
Shivani Rajasekhar will be seen in a key role. Jeevitha has said that the father-daughter duo has shared the screen space and that their scenes have come out really well. Shivani is likely going to be seen in the film's trailer, which will be released soon. 'Shekar' is also co-produced by the daughters of Rajasekhar, Shivani and Shivathmika.
The film is a remake of the Malayalam movie 'Joseph', a thriller. Its music is by Anup Rubens. Shekar's official release date will be announced soon.
