'Mahaan', starring Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram, is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio. Featuring Bobby Simha and Simran in important roles, the film will release on February 10 on Amazon Prime in all major South Indian languages.
The news is that the teaser for the direct-to-OTT release is out. We see Vikram playing the titular role. He is into bootlegging and runs a criminal syndicate. Themes like friendship, rivalry and play of fate are integral to the film, it appears. Dhruv Vikram makes an appearance towards the end.
Speaking about the movie, the makers said, "The film tells the tale of incidents revolving around a series of events that transform the whole life of an ordinary man as well as all the people around him."
An action-packed thriller, the film is touted to be a mix of action, drama and emotions. Its music is by Santhosh Narayanan.
