SV Krishna Reddy's comeback movie is titled 'Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu'. Launched in April this year, the movie stars Bigg Boss Telugu fame Sohel Ryan and Mrunalini Ravi in the lead. Also featuring Rajendra Prasad, Meena, Ali, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh and Raja Ravindra in key roles, its production works have been carried out at a fast pace.
The news is that, on Wednesday, director Krishna Reddy's birthday was held on the sets of the movie. Producer Atchi Reddy said that it was a happy thing to celebrate the director's birthday in the presence of media and friends. He added that Sohel is delivering a neat performance. The producer also described Mrunalini Ravi as a talented actress.
C Kalyan hoped that the film becomes a turning point for Krishna Reddy. "Recently, Ali told me he is feeling the same energy with regards to the project that he felt when Krishna Reddy introduced him (Ali) as a hero more than two decades ago. If a family entertainer is even just good, it attains a blockbuster status. Krishna Reddy has chosen the right story to make a comeback," he added.
Krishna Reddy said that he is fortunate to have known Atchi Reddy. "He has always been there by my side, giving feedback to my stories/ideas. If I write something unique, he spots it. Coming to this particular project, we are fortunate to have found Kalpana garu, the producer. I have made 40 films so far. I have also worked in the US film industry. In the last many years, some people advised us to make films that play to the gallery. I have always been against the idea of making films that offend women. I have believed that going on the right path always has rich payoffs. Many years ago, we made 'Pellam Oorelithe' on a budget of Rs 2.5 Cr. It made Rs 18 Cr," Krishna Reddy said.
Sohel said that the director of 'Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu' is going to bring out his talent. "He is explaining every single scene in detail. Ram Prasad garu's cinematography is very nice. I hope this film becomes a turning point in my career. We are making this film to entertain the audience. Mrunalini is a natural performer," he added.
Producer Kalpana said, "This film is high on entertainment. People on set are treating me as their mother. I am happy with the output."
The film also features Hema, Praveen, Saptagiri and others. Lyrics are by Chandrabose and Bhaskarabhatla.
