'Sammathame', the June 24th release, will be released worldwide by Geetha Film Distribution. A while ago, its trailer was released at the hands of Minister and TRS leader KT Rama Rao.
The rom-com touches upon themes of compatibility, rejection in love, and accusations of over-possessiveness. Kiran Abbavaram plays a youngster who is desperate to get married because, when he was a child, his father told him that only a woman rings in prosperity. Chandini Chowdhary plays a young girl who seems to be the right match for the hero. Eventually, as compatibility issues crop up, the male protagonist must face dejection as she walks out.
Sateesh Reddy Masam's visuals and Sekhar Chandra's music are integral to the story-telling, it would seem. "Gold chain vesukunanduku innalaki vachindi golden opportunity," Kiran tweeted, plugging the trailer.
The film has the story, screenplay and dialogues written by director Gopinath Reddy.
