Suma has played the role of a housewife who takes an amusing decision to fund her husband's open heart surgery. The aesthetics of 'Jayamma Panchayathi' are off-beat. The film hasn't been made for the mainstream movie-going audience.
In a recent interview, Suma was sounding confident about doing movies repeatedly. But after the failure of her comeback movie, one has to see whether filmmakers/producers will show interest in investing on her movies.
Later this year, her son Roshan Kanakala is going to be launched in films as a lead man.
