The Tamil-language cop action drama 'Sinam' is going to be released in Telugu as 'Aakrosham'. Arun Vijay of 'Saaho' fame, who was recently seen in 'Enugu', is its hero.
The cop drama features Pallak Lalwani (who has previously done Telugu movies like 'Abbayitho Ammayi' and 'Juvva') as the heroine, while Kollywood actors Kaali Venkat, RNR Manohar, KSG Venkatesh and Marumalarchi Bharathi (most of whom are unfamiliar to the Telugu audience) are part of the cast.
Director GNR Kumaravelan has described the film as an action-oriented revenge drama that has got the trappings of an emotional family drama.
Producer CH Satish Kumar admittedly got enthused by the film's Tamil trailer and put forth a proposal to its makers. He then bagged the Telugu release rights. He is convinced that 'Aakrosham' is rich in the 'Navarasalu'.
With music by Shabir Tabare Alam, the film is yet to lock its release date.
