Director Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD' is a futuristic sci-fi project starring Prabhas in the lead role. The film will hit the cinemas probably in May 2024.
News has emerged that 'Sita Ramam' star Dulquer Salmaan is playing a special role in it. In recent days, he has indicated the same twice. In a recent interview, he spoke of the grand sets of the Vyjayanthi Movies project. At that time, it was assumed that Dulquer merely visited the sets because he is close to producer C Ashwini Dutt.
But there seems to be more to it. In his latest interview, the 'Mahanati' actor praised director Nag Ashwin's vision and talent. He even mentioned 'Yevade Subrahmanyam'. When asked to be specific about whether he is doing Prabhas' film, he evaded the question cleverly. At the same time, he didn't deny it.
“I should not talk much about it for now. Let’s not talk about it and I will keep promoting Kalki 2898 AD," Dulquer said.
Also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan (as the antagonist), Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is expected to break new ground on the sci-fi front. With cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
