'University' is the title of an upcoming social message movie directed by R Narayana Murthy. The actor-filmmaker today hosted legendary artist Brahmanandam at the film's event to launch its title logo.
Speaking on the occasion, Murthy thanked AP Minister Botsa Satyanarayana for supporting his movie while it was shot in Vijayanagaram and surrounding places.
New artists who have previously trained in acting under the aegis of the Vizag-based Satyanand Master have acted in the movie, which is based on the education system. The filmmaker also spoke against the privatization of the education and healthcare sectors.
Brahmanadam appreciated the zeal of Murthy for the past 35 years. "I appreciate his passion for cinema. There are artistic filmmakers and commercial filmmakers. Murthy is the people's filmmaker. Cinema is his world. He is a nice human being for whom cinema is the world," the actor, who will soon be seen in Krishna Vamsi's 'Ranga Marthanda', said.
