'Butta Bomma' will head to the theatres on February 4. Producer S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments today unveiled its trailer.
Starring Anikha Surendran, Surya Vasisshta and Arjun Das, the film is a social drama directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar Ramesh T.
The film is a remake of 'Kappela' (Malayalam). And the trailer stays true to the genre. The feel-good romance gives way to tension as the trailer advances. Towards the end, we see a Butta Bomma idol disappearing as if it is a metaphor for a plot point.
Arjun Das is looking at scoring his first major straight Telugu hit. "Not just me, but also Anikha Surendra and Surya have brought freshness to the table. The director is an absolute taskmaster," he recently said in an interview.
The dialogues have been written by Ganesh Ravuri. Vamsi Patchipulusu has cranked the camera. Vivek Annamalai is its art director. Navya Swamy is part of the cast.
