Vyjayanthi Movies, which recently announced the release date of Prabhas' 'Project K' to be January 12 (2024), is in the news over a new movie titled 'Champion'. Co-produced by Swapna Cinemas of 'Mahanati' and 'Jathi Ratnalu' fame, the entertainer stars second-time leading man Meka Roshann as the protagonist.
Helmed by Pradeep Advaitham, the title was officially announced on Monday to coincide with the actor's birthday. A new poster featuring Roshann was released today. The title logo includes a football with wings on either side for an unspecified reason. Could the story be driven by sports?
Producer C Aswani Dutt is making this film with the son of actor Srikanth on a substantial scale. After 'Mahanati', Mickey J Meyer collaborated with the banner yet again. The cinematography is by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti. Co-produced by GK Mohan, the film is edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
The film's director has previously made 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' (Telugu). His acclaimed short film 'Advaitham' has become his second name of late.
