'Maama Mascheendra', Sudheer Babu's latest release, is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. Directed by Harshavardhan, the film has been humbled at the box office.
As per trade reports, the film literally made no share for its distributors on Day 1. On Friday, which was its first day at the box office, the entertainer was resolutely and comprehensively rejected by the audience.
Sudheer Babu's previous release of the year, 'Hunt', too, was a colossal flop. But that film was a serious thriller and also a remake. So, its failure was not that shocking. 'Maama Mascheendra' is a straight outing featuring a rom-com track as well. And it is not like there is a superstar movie playing in theatres. 'Month Of Madhu' is another Tollywood film that has been ignored by the audience.
This week, the entire attention has been grabbed by 'MAD'. The film, starring newcomers, is a college campus fun entertainer.
