'Dhimahi', directed by Saahas Pagadala and Naveen Kante, is slated to hit the cinemas on October 27. Its trailer is out and it is engaging throughout despite coming from a cast and crew with no star image.
Dr. Karthik (played by Saahs of '7:11 PM' fame) is devastated when a dear family member, Mahi (a kid), goes missing. Even as Mahi's parents are heartbroken, this one of the "world's best doctors" learns that the girl is dead. He takes refuge in Necromancy, a paranormal technique through which one can communicate with the dead. Karthik, by coming to know what the future has in store for Mahi's family and himself, attempts to rewrite destiny. Soul-swapping is a tool in this quest.
The makers promise not just a feel-good romantic track but also gut-wrenching, edgy scenes.
Produced by Captain Cook Films' Virat Kapur (one of the prime actors) and Saahas Pagadala, the film stars Nikitha Chopra as the heroine. JD Cherukuru, Aashika, Sreejith, Gangadharan, Saujanya Kasina, Vamsi Davuluri and others are part of the cast.
