Koratala Siva-directed 'Devara' is in the news on Dasara over the release of a new poster. We see Jr NTR's character holding a deadly weapon in the latest poster. "The deadliest weapon in the world is the hand holding the weapon (sic)," wrote NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, plugging the same.
The nature of the poster suggests that 'Devara', to be released in two parts, is going to be highly violent. The film, whose music is by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography is by Rathnavelu, stars Jahnvi Kapoor as the heroine and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist.
"We want the emotions and drama to be captured to their fullest. That's why we have decided to make the film in two parts. This is a consensual decision in the interest of detailing and depth," Koratala said earlier this month, announcing that 'Devara' will be made as a two-part tentpole movie.
The first part will hit the cinemas on April 5, 2024.
