'Pelli Choopulu' (2016) was a breakout film for both Vijay Deverakonda and Tharun Bhascker. About seven years after its theatrical release, it was today confirmed that the actor-director combination is up for a reunion.
Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Keedaa Cola' on Sunday, the 'Kushi' actor said that the reunion is going to happen "very, very soon."
"I would like to reveal that Tharun has finally brought a script to me. We have locked a script and I am super happy about it. You will see me and Tharun together again," the 'Arjun Reddy' star said.
Vijay awaits the release of 'Family Star' next in theatres. The Sankranthi 2024 release is directed by Parasuram Petla. After this, he will also be doing a film with 'Jersey' director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The Tharun directorial, at this rate, might go on the floors only in 2025. That is "very, very soon" by Tollywood's standards!
