'Jersey' director Gowtham Tinnanuri completed a musical college campus film titled 'MAGIC' before venturing into Vijay Deverakonda's 12th movie. The film is now going to be released in theatres.
Sithara Entertainments today announced its release date. The youthful, coming of age musical drama will head to theatres on December 21 this year. "Chasing the stars and weaving dreams, as the rhythm of #MAGIC guides the way!" the makers wrote on social media, announcing the release date.
This is one of the few non-star films for which the highly regarded composer, Anirudh Ravichander, has composed the music. In the story, four youngsters band together to belt out a tune for their college festival.
Girish Gangadharan is the film's Director of Photography. Also produced by Fortune Four Cinemas, the film's editing is by Navin Nooli.
Producers S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya also have a release coming up on October 31: Dulquer Salmaan's 'Lucky Baskhar'. Gowtam Tinnanuri's Christmas release is one of the biggest non-star movies.
