After ‘Rehna Hai Tera Dil Mein’ (Cheli), Gautham Menon’s once again tasted a bitter experience in the North, that’s with his latest film ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ (Ye Maya Chesave). Both these films were the blockbusters in the South but became flop in the North.
Gautham Menon claims that the reason behind the failure of his latest film ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ is the wrong choice hero. According to him Prateek Babbar could not impress the audience in this film due to his continous string of flops earlier. Gautham also felt that Ranbir Kapoor is the aptly suitable character for that role. Similarly he also believes that Madhavan was not the right hero for ‘Rehna Hai Tera Dil Mein’.
