The Triple Platinum Disc Function of Venkatesh-Trisha starrer ‘Bodyguard’ was held at V Max theater in Vishakapatnam in a grand manner. The film which was directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions Pvt Ltd., was released on January 14th by Multi-dimension Entertainment Pvt Ltd. SS Thaman scored the music which created all time record in its sales. Hence on this occasion the unit has celebrated the Triple Platinum Disc Function for which Victory Venkatesh, heroine Saloni, director Gopichand Malineni, producer Bellamkonda Suresh, Aali, dialogue writer Kona Venkat, etc., participated along with other prominent guests VV Vinayak, Dil Raju and Welfare Creations’ owner Dr Malla Vijay Prasad. The first Triple Platinum Disc of ‘Bodyguard’ was presented victory Venkatesh by VV Vinayak.
Later addressing the gathering Victory Venkatesh said, “We are very happy to note the success of ‘Bodyguard’ which was released on 14th as Sankranti gift. This is a good family entertainer with good story, good comedy and good music which are the main reasons for the success of this film. I’m sure that the collections will surpass my earlier films’ collections. Hence I thank the audience for watching the film and making it the big hit which is the turning point of my career.”
Producer Bellamkonda Suresh said, “Bodyguard created sensation in box-office collections worldwide. The openings were fantastic in all centres. ‘Bodyguard’ is definitely the top grosser among all Venkatesh’s films that were released so far. In these days where there are hardly any family oriented films coming up in theaters, I produced this movie only based on believing the story. I thank the audience for making my belief come true. Venkatesh Babu and Gopichand Malineni are the two important persons who made this film possible. The reason for such huge success is their cooperation during the making of the film. We organised this triple platinum disc function in Vizag only because we wanted to celebrate the success with the people in Ceded area.”
