As known to all, Charmi plays a prostitute in the movie ‘Prema Oka Maikam’. The film also stars ‘Happy Days’ fame Rahul and ‘Premisthe’ fame Sharanya in key roles. Chandu of ‘Tenth Class’ and ‘Notebook’ fame is handling the direction for this film. Shooting is almost done except for a song. D Venkat Suresh and K Surya Srikanth are jointly producing the film under Touring Talkies banner.
According to producers, the dubbing work is currently taking place. Audio will be released in this month and the movie in next month.
Director Chandu said, “The love story revolves around a prostitute, writer and singer. It’s not only a powerful story but will also have powerful yet trendy dialogues. There are altogether 6 songs and 2 bit songs. We have designed it as a musical love story film. Singer Deepu’s brother M J K Praveen composed the music which is his first film. Many heroines, from old to new, have portrayed the role of prostitute. Charmi’s performance will be on par with them.”
