Charmi’s ‘Prema Oka Maikam’ is expected in theaters either during this month end or in the 1st week of July. Charmi will be seen in the role of a prostitute in the story that revolves around three characters – a prostitute named Mallika, a singer Swathi and a writer Lalith. Music was recently released. Kulasekhar and Shashi penned the lyrics. Chandu directed this triangle love story and Duddu Venkat Suresh and K Surya Srikanth have jointly produced it. Pulagam Chinna Narayana provided the dialogues and Praveen Bangari cranked the camera.
After winning Nandi special jury award for her performance in ‘Mangala’, Charmi is once again coming up with another woman centric film. She has won her first Nandi award for Best actress for her critical acclaimed performance in ‘Mantra’. So let’s hope that the juicy role in ‘Prema Oka Maikam’ will lead to award recognition one more time.
