Aditi Rao Hydari, whose 'V' is currently streaming on Amazon Prime, has opened up on why she has done the thriller even though her role is not long. Speaking on what made her go for it, the multi-lingual actress said, "Since I had already worked with director Mohanakrishna Indraganti on 'Sammohanam', I was comfortable to team up with him again. It's not about whether my character is just for 20 minutes or two hours in the film. It's a well-etched role around which the emotions are woven."

"Although my character Saheba dies, it becomes the basis for a lot of things in the story. The love story between Saheba and Vishnu (Nani) is the heart of the story. I have played the role of an employee at a store. I didn't do any kind of homework for the role," she added.

"When I did 'Sammohanam', I couldn't speak Telugu. I enjoy working with Indraganti, who designs his characters thoroughly. There is a lot of humour in his writing," the 'Nawaab' actress added.

Is she learning Telugu? "Everybody in my family can speak Telugu but for me. I have tried to learn both Telugu and Tamil during the lockdown. But since it got confusing, I gave up the idea of learning both simultaneously," she added.

What about her upcoming projects? "I am doing a film opposite John Abraham, for which I have shot in Mumbai. All precautions related to COVID-19 have been put in place. Contrary to rumours, I am not doing Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyan Selvam'. I am not doing any web-series as of now. I am doing a Telugu film, two Tamil films and three Hindi projects," Aditi revealed.
