Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film 'Acharya' is one of the much-awaited films in 2021. For the past few days, there were many speculations about the release date of the film.
Reports suggested Acharya is likely to miss the May 13 deadline because of the pending shooting schedules and the rise in Covid-19 infections in India.
If reports are to be believed, the makers of the action drama are now planning to release the film on June 18th across the globe. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film has Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady. Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde play extended guest roles in it while Sonu Sood has been roped in for a pivotal role. Acharya is produced by Matinee Entertainments and it has music by Mani Sharma.
