Actor Tanish has said in a video message that the media has been reporting irresponsibly alleging that he has received legal notices in connection with a drugs case. "The media is reporting the issue recklessly. They haven't even bothered to get in touch with me to know the truth. These reports are causing pain to my family," Tanish said. He revealed that the media doesn't know a thing about the context of the notice he has received.
The media has been reporting the name of a Bengaluru-based film producer in the context. Tanish said that he hasn't been in touch with the said producer for two years. "It's true that I have received a notice. But I have only been asked to inform the investigators if I know anything about the producer. The notice doesn't say anywhere that I am involved in the drugs case. Without knowing the facts, the media is reporting lies. Please don't believe in falsehoods of this nature," Tanish said.
