Senior Tollywood artist Kadambari Kiran has been rendering charity works through Manam Saitham, his NGO. On Tuesday, he issued a statement praising Ram Charan's kind nature.
"Some years ago, the wife of an assistant director breathed her last. Since the family was too poor, they couldn't meet the immediate expenses related to last rites. I got in touch with Charan garu through director Sukumar. He donated Rs 2 lakh towards the expenses. He and a few other donors later pooled in Rs 1.20 lakh. The sum was put into an FD account in the name of the infant daughter of the deceased woman. The other day, when I crossed paths with Charan garu at an event, he was kind enough to inquire about the well-being of that girl. My heart was filled with gratitude when he asked the question. Being born with a silver spoon is one thing. Charan garu is a man with a heart of gold," Kiran said.
